Who This Policy Covers

Oak Road Studios Pty Ltd operates oakroadstudios.com.au under the Oak Rd Studios brand. In this policy, “Oak Rd Studios”, “we”, and “us” refer to Oak Road Studios Pty Ltd.

Website, Hosting And Analytics

The public website has no accounts, newsletter signup, waitlist, advertising pixels, cross-site behavioural tracking, session recording, or marketing profiles.

Cloudflare provides website delivery, security services, and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Web Analytics may produce aggregate reporting about visits, page views, paths, referrers, broad device and location categories, and page performance. Cloudflare states that this service does not use analytics cookies or browser storage, fingerprint individuals, or track individual visitors across websites. We do not use the reports to identify people, join browsing to order or support records, target advertising, or create marketing profiles.

Cloudflare, Heroku, and their infrastructure providers may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested paths, performance information, and security signals to deliver and protect the website.

Product Browsing And Cart

The shop is a custom storefront backed by Shopify. Product information is retrieved from Shopify during the website build, and product images load from Shopify's content-delivery network when visitors browse shop pages.

When a visitor uses the cart, their browser communicates directly with Shopify's Storefront API. The site stores an opaque Shopify cart identifier in local storage so the cart can continue between pages and visits. Shopify stores the associated product, variant, quantity, pricing, and availability information. Cart items can be removed through the cart page, and the local identifier can be removed by clearing this site's browser data.

Checkout And Orders

Checkout is hosted by Shopify and does not require an Oak Rd Studios customer account. Shopify and relevant payment, fraud-prevention, and delivery services process contact, shipping, billing, payment, and order information. We receive the order and customer details needed to fulfil the purchase, provide support, keep required business records, and meet legal obligations. Those providers handle information under their own privacy terms and retention requirements.

We keep customer and order information only for fulfilment, purchase support, required business records, and applicable legal obligations. We do not retain it to build customer profiles or for marketing, and we delete or de-identify it when it is no longer required for those purposes. A customer may contact us to ask about or request deletion of information, subject to records we must retain by law.

Placing an order does not subscribe a customer to marketing. We do not add advertising pixels, behavioural marketing, a newsletter, or optional marketing consent to the shop.

Privacy questions and purchase support: contact@oakroadstudios.com.au. Email providers process messages and replies. We use them to answer the enquiry or support the order, not to build a newsletter or marketing database.
