Broad Twist Pen
Handmade Jarrah Broad Twist Pen – Australian Native Timber
$69.95
Available
Hand-turned from Western Australian Jarrah, one of the country's most iconic hardwoods, prized for its deep red-brown tones and dense, hard-wearing grain. This is our broader pen — a fuller barrel that sits with real weight and presence in the hand, for those who prefer a more substantial pen than a slimline. Finished to a glass-smooth shine and fitted with a smooth twist-action mechanism.
Because Jarrah is a natural timber, each pen is individually hand-turned — the grain and colour of your pen will be similar but not identical to the one shown. Every piece is one of a kind.
Choose your hardware finish: chrome, gun metal or gold.
• Broader barrel for a comfortable, substantial grip
• Twist-action ballpoint
• Takes a standard Cross-style refill
• Wipe clean with a soft cloth; keep out of prolonged direct sun

About the timber
Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata)
Jarrah is a dense, durable hardwood native to the southwest of Western Australia, and one of the country's most recognisable timbers. Its heartwood ranges from rich red to deep brown, often deepening with age, and it can show beautiful curly or fiddleback figure. With a Janka hardness of around 8.5 kN and an air-dry density near 820 kg/m³, it's one of Australia's harder timbers — prized for its resistance to wear and its superb polish, which is exactly what makes it such a rewarding wood to turn.
A note on materials
Every piece has its own grain.
Timber colour, grain, and figure naturally vary. The piece you receive will share the listed material and design, but it will not be visually identical to every photograph. Natural variation is not a defect, and change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Shipping & returns
